I am so excited! One of my favorite shows is going to be making a return on Amazon Prime… Canadian sketch comedy show The Kids in the Hall is coming back, with NEW EPISODES, years after it left way too soon! The fact that all the original cast members, Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, Bruce McCulloch, Mark McKinney and Scott Thompson all signed on make me extremely optimistic because leaving even one of them out would make the show incomplete. With the return of the original cast, hopefully we’ll see their iconic characters as well! The Chicken Lady, Headcrusher, and The King of Empty Promises will be welcome additions to my viewing once again. Who knows, maybe Scott Thompson will revive his great “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II” for the new episodes. I always thought The Kids in the Hall was a great mix of SNL and Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Sketch comedy can be great and it can be awful. I have nothing but the highest expectations for the new episodes and gladly welcome “The Kids” back to my television.
